About

Tux Notes is a hobby project: a set of short Linux lessons written for friends who wanted to learn the command line without wading through thousand-page manuals.

The lessons assume a Debian or Ubuntu system, but almost everything applies to other distributions too. Found a mistake or have a topic you would like covered? Corrections are always welcome.

The penguin is, of course, a tribute to Tux, drawn by Larry Ewing.
